Gutters - Where do you start?

So im curious, Where do you start at when cleaning a gutter? I usually start at the side the downspout is on to check if downspout is clogged first. if it is I will remove the debris to get rid of standing water and make my way to the end and spray the hose from that side if needed once all debris are taken out of gutter
