Hello all,
I started my business 1 month a 1 week ago. This is my first time cleaning windows and the only training I had was youtube and this forum. I love cleaning windows, I can't believe I just said that but I use to say "if I could make a thousand dollars a week cleaning windows, I would clean windows". When I would say that, I thought cleaning windows was a low down job. But I was wrong, it feels very satisfying and people appreciate a window cleaner. I also found out that I can make a thousand dollars a week and a whole lot more!
Cleaning windows the right way is hard work but it seems to be getting easier as I learn. I have acquired 8 commercial accounts totaling roughly $500 per month and have completed 14 residential jobs in my first month. I made sure to do the jobs right, even if it meant spending 8 hours scraping every inch of window of an 18 acquired home only on the outside to just make $100. That really paid off and it taught me how to price and clean right, the home owners not only referred me to other neighbors and friends but most asked me to return in 3 months.
Would y'all please give me some feedback as to letting me know if I'm on the right track with this or am I just being over optimistic about this? I feel like I'm having great success but maybe I am behind and need to work harder..... Your comments will be very much appreciated.
