Don't Blame the Rubber

Rubber is almost always consistent. There are only several quality rubbers for professional window cleaners. They all have different formulas and so different characteristics. I wrote a two part article years ago for the American Window Cleaner on rubber formulations and properties. And remember Henry Unger talking about this same subject. He was fascinated by the topic. BUT. The professional rubbers are all exceptional. I have used them all. So don't blame the rubber. Blame the employees of the store.

As I hope to show by my new logo for my new product development biz glass/window surfaces "can" be quite different. It is all about that little oxygen atom with an open hand. It will grab anything. So if the employees use a product like Simple Green, an invisible coating can be left. You will however "feel" it with your rubber. Your rubber will chatter and stick to the window. Even with the best slip in your water. Glass can be "coated" with other chems/products too. Bottom line. Employees should never clean the glass. Unless they use a product that YOU make for them. One with your company name and contact info.
