Hey everyone,
I am meeting a guy that cold called me today about offloading all of his commercial/storefront accounts. He was recently made the Pastor at his church and is leaving the industry altogether. He said hes willing to work out a deal with me. Neither one of us is sure on any of the details but we are meeting tomorrow to discuss it further. So with that being said I am calling on the wisdom of my friends here to help me.
Is there anything you guys feel is really important to know before ironing out the details?
What are some kinks you have run into before in these types of transactions?
What type of paperwork should be drawn up?
How does transferring an account like Chick-fil-a work?
I have lots of questions and really dont want to go in there blind. Also, what would be a reasonable price to pay for a route? I dont plan on paying anything up front, what kind of plan would accommodate that?
If you read all of this, Thanks. I would appreciate any wisdom you might have.
