Well, I don't know how it happened so fast, but fall 2014 is basically here. Crazy to think we've already been in business for 4 years now..... It's still crazy to think it's already been that long.
So in the past 2 weeks I've really been assessing our previous fall seasons. Stuff like weekly averages, $ spent on marketing , successful mailing campaigns we've ran, average cost of a crew per day/week, how many gutter jobs we can do on an average day.... Really just trying to get a feel of how to totally maximize every potential minute this fall.
Being in Minnesota, I also spend a good 10 hours a day planning out the winter and setting up sources of monthly income for the 5 guys we keep on dec-mar. I feel better about this winter then I have about any previous season simply because we are prepared for whatever happens.
I could go on , but I'll wait till we get the thread going.
what are you guys up to wrapping up this week and going into next week?
my to do list for today includes:
post office- dropping off a run of 3k flyers in our best market in town
2guys out flyering
repeat calls being made to schedule customers that went 1-2 week of oct
then our re peat letter goes out Monday to every customer we have ever serviced
im interested to see what everyone else is up to.
So, what are you doing to transition into the 2014 fall busy season?
