I'm just starting up my business (don't even have a name yet!) and I came across WCR and LOVE it. Anyway, I'm planning on keeping my day job until I have enough clients to support myself. I'll be setting up a website (hopefully I can afford to get setup so I am at the top of search engines) and doing some marketing, i.e. mailers, door knob hangers, etc.
Anyone else out there start up while keeping their day jobs? What advice can you give? How did you manage scheduling? Did you get many customers that wanted/needed work done when you were unavailable because of the day job?
