So one of my shiny new vans has an intermittent issue with the fuel gauge. Example, the estimated distance to empty would rapidly change between 100-800 km. When it had its 60k service recently I explained this to the dealer, they said they would check with ford as they had heard of a fuel pump problem with my model van.
Next thing....
Just now my fuel gauge suddenly went from 200km till entry, to 100km and low fuel warning, to 3km, 2km, 0km... Splutter splutter and I've ran out. All In the space of about 45 seconds!!!
So, while im sitting bored on the side of the road while a grumpy tired girlfriend who has just done a cycling race... Please post amusing things to keep me entertained!
