My beautiful wife and I, are going out of state to visit her parents soon. we live in a small-er market. Her parents live in a big market, in another state. The thought has crossed my mind, while I am there, to offer some window cleaning to the small businesses I walk into to shop at.
I want this to be an experiment to sharpen my sales skills, and hone my on the spot marketing. Going to a market I am totally unfamiliar with and be the FNG. I am only going to be there a couple of days, but I think this would be a great way to sharpen skills, and see the areas I can improve upon with myself.
How many of you would do this as well?
I am never able to "vacation" or totally relax. When you own a business, you are on duty and working on something 24/7 it seems. If I made enough for trip expenses, that would be good enough for me.
